I Am Drug Free

     Red Ribbon Week, the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country, serves as a channel for communities and individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention and education and a personal commitment to live drug-free lives.

     The Garland County Sheriff's Department sponsored a Red Ribbon Week Essay Contest. Essays were not to exceed 500 words. The essays were judged on neatness, content, theme and grammar.

Theme: I Am Drug Free
Eligible Students: 8th Grade Students in Garland County
Prizes:
      1st Place - $75.00 Hot Springs Mall Gift Card
      2nd Place - $50.00 Hot Springs Mall Gift Card
      3rd Place - 4 movie passes to Carmike Cinemas
