Special Response Team
The Sheriff's Department has a 12 person Special Response Team that handles critical incidents in the Detention Center. The team consists of a 5 person entry team and a 7 person search team. All members of the Special Response Team are trained in entry, searches and defensive tactics so each member can be interchanged with any other member. The Special Response Team members are trained specifically to handle all emergencies and situations that could arise in the Detention Center.
